ahhhh.... I have just updated the catalog listings online! ... I was inspired, and the latest MemoryWorks offerings, including the supplement are now all on the site.
I've added a new section to the site, the "Interactive Catalog Reader" which will allow you to flip through the catalog pages online without waiting and downloading it to your computer.

I have finally uploaded all the product information into the site. If you are looking for it, it will be there! Everything that is in the catalog can be ordered online here.
Bear with me as I add descriptions... there are 639 products in the catalog! The current catalog downloads will be available soon, so all images can be found in there until the online listings are complete. The online catalog is searchable by item names and numbers as found in the MemoryWorks catalog.

i was shopping at the lss where they were demonstrating the cuttlebug. i all ready have a sizzix machine, but i stopped at the table anyhow. "but that doesn't emboss, right?" the demonstrator said of my sizzix. "no, though i think they're coming out with another version that will also do that..." i replied as i considered whether or not i need to add another "big machine" type of tool to my collection--which is probably not anytime soon at this point.
i eyed the cuttlebug in any case. i know my sizzix is sturdy with that lever you push down upon. i asked about the crank handle.. if that was sturdy. "try it out!" she said and got me started. well--isn't that a great tool, and it really felt solid. ah.... i considered some more, they are on sale today.... i really like the embossed look, and a quick machine to create the look is appealing----but i have a sizzix! i thanked the demonstrator and went on to look at the little embossers. i studied them and wondered if i couldn't use them with my sizzix. "for best results, use with the cuttlebug machine" the product informed me. they were all out of the machine, so with temptation removed from my path, i bought some embossers, as well as some die cutters, to bring home and experiment with.
and they work!!! you just need the system converter, and then experiment a bit with whether or not you need to add paper shims under the cutting pad. oh, i was so excited. my options seemed to grow wide in an instant. i still feel temptation to own a new cuttlebug, but i am working on being practical and using the stash and tools i've got at the moment.

hello again! thanks for visiting. i am still working on the catalog listings. memoryworks is also in the midst of transition between catalogs and will be retiring some products to make room for more paper goodies! all retired items will be available until they are gone, and will be available on a first come, first served basis. i will provide this information as i work though the catalog.
i think in the meantime, i will get back to creating and photography, and hopefully have more to share! |
if you are just visiting, thanks for having a look. the site is still in development... i just have the catalog left to do! after that, i hope to add some info on classes as i develop them. alongside the crafter galleries (which you can create and upload to), i hope to add a sort of wiki-share that artisans can access and add tips and ideas.
